Khalid Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, Member of the Board of Directors and
Chairman of the Contracting Committee in Asharqia Chamber expressed his sincere thanks to Dr. Majid Al Qasabi,
Minister of Trade and Investment Muhammed bin Abdullah
Al Jadaan, Minister of Finance for their initiative to register all
financial claims to the government for the private sector.
The
Ministry of Finance launched the Financial Claims Service for Suppliers
and Contractors on October 17, 2017, which aims to collect and
consolidate all financial claims and review them with government
agencies to facilitate the process and stressed the need to
register all financial claims to the government from all suppliers and
contractors before The date of 27 Safar 1439 - 16 November 2017 and
continuing with the procedures followed with government agencies.
Al-Ammar praised the move, which aims at enhancing the principle of
transparency and creating a more accurate and clear database of all
contractors and suppliers to government agencies through
those programs and projects that are completed and developed, thus
facilitating the review and disbursement of all claims in record and
scheduled times.
Abdul Hakim Al Ammar urged suppliers and contractors to take initiative
and speed up their claims by entering payclaims.mof.gov.sa, choosing a
financial claims service, selecting a financial claim service,
identifying the commercial register, adding financial claims, The Ministry then will verify the request, reply or approve it
without the need for the direct attendance of the Ministry, and ensures that this is done before the date specified for closing the
registration.
Al Ammar
praised the great attention paid by our wise government and chambers of
commerce in the Kingdom to support the contracting sector, from
developing and issuing decisions that serve this sector and the constant
efforts to address the challenges faced by the Saudi contractor to be a partner in development work. which is witnessing our region and our dear country in various sectors and fields.
